Over the next week or so the puking from Marilyn continued, though she never acted like it was abnormal, and Dalton strangely kept his peace; meaning for once he kept his mouth shut. Marilyn hadn't slowed down in her work and surely wasn't prepared for she was going to find later today.
"So sugar pie I've been thinking-""That must have hurt your brain terribly, do we need to check that out?"
"If you don't shut your mouth I'm gonna kick you in an unpleasant place."
Dalton turned slightly as Marilyn regained her happy face and attitude. She grabbed her husbands face with her hands, focusing his attention on her as she whispered to him.
"I want to adopt again."
"You want to do what?" Dalton stared at her. His hands slowly fell from her, Marilyns hands also slowly fell and she backed a little to look at her husbands face.
"I think we should adopt another child Dalton."
"And make Leon feel like he's being replaced? Birdie he just got settled in and he's finally getting comfortable with us. You aren't going to turn into a crazy cat lady, minus the cats add the kids. We can get you into a rehab program if you need."
It took Marilyn everything she had not to strangle this man standing in front of her.
"Darling, I love Leon and the table has become so much more lively now that he's here, but maybe the house can be livelier. I want to hear more little feet running around and more little children calling me mommy."
"It's a big decision. Where would we even put another child? This house is too small."
"We can expand! We've been talking about it forever. Can't we just talk to Sadie about it when she comes to check on Leon? Please?"
Dalton looked at Marilyn and laid his hand on her cheek. All this woman has to do is look at him lovingly as she was doing now and he would melt. He was all hers and she knew it.
"Alright Birdie, we can talk to Sadie about adopting another little one."
"Yes! Thank you."
Marilyn quickly kissed Dalton then ran to the room saying something about being nearly late for a performance and that she needed to change.
----------
Marilyn's night was going fine as usual. There was roughly six Sims watching her, which wasn't too bad considering how small the bar was. Mar usually got a kick out of watching the drunkards fumbling around like the girl near the stage, but today there was a strangely familiar face in the crowd and he seemed to be enjoying himself.
Yet he was still there, now clapping and giving her one of the oddest looks. That same striking green hair on his head as hers, same skin tone, same eyes. Which turned out to look good on both of them since one of the girls in the back was checking him out pretty hard.
Marilyn made sure to sneak a look at the man in the back as she gave the final bow to end her concert. She was definitely going to confront the man as soon as she stepped off the stage.
"Jesse, what are you doing here?"

Well this was fun to write. The next chapter will be more dialogue and figuring out who this mystery man is to Marilyn, though I'm sure you can figure it out.
I'm not sure what else to say. >.<
